WHAT IS SHAITSU?

LEARN TO PRACTICE REFLEXOLOGY!
Originating in Egypt and China, this ancient healing therapy utilizes pressure points in the hands and feet to stimulate corresponding organs within the body. Reflexology encourages good health, promoting relaxation, easing pain, preventing disease, and improving quality of life!

The course will run over 5 alternate Sundays.  A theory lecture will be conducted in the mornings, and practical application will follow in the afternoons.  There will be an hour lunch break in between.

The Reflexology course material and practical instructions is based on the ITEC (international Therapy Examination Council) syllabus.  This course material is also approved by the AOR (Association of Reflexologists in England).

There will be an optional practical and theoretical evaluation at the end of the course, which, if passed, will be awarded with a practical diploma in Reflexology.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR

Lulu Beyers has been a Holistic Practitioner for over 12 years.  She currently runs a busy practice from Cape Town offering Reflexology, Shiatsu and Deep Tissue Massage.  She has a Bachelors of  Science degree in Natural Medicine, and is currently completing a 5 year degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Lulu is a registered ITEC Reflexology Practitioner and teacher.  She received her qualification from a renowned London-based Reflexology school.  Lulu was a Reflexologist to the stars at a famous Reflexology clinic in London for 2 years – before bringing her practice to Cape Town in 2007.

The urge to teach came naturally, as she was flooded with eager requests to teach her particular style of Reflexology.
